watashiwa anata wa instumo no naka ni
didn't post last night cause olympics opening ceremony ended too late. and i konked off before it ended. I MISSED THE LIGHTING OF THE TORCH, arghh. Ok this was what happen yesterday, morning go to sch, everyone was wearing bright house tee shirts, atmosphere quite exciting(cause no lessons, more like everyone was eager to get it over and done with and go home). the initial peformance at the hall was good and ok....until the havard university performers came. THEY ROCK. Well, to give an overall comment, we could see the level of perfomance and entertainment value innovation and creative performances these ang mos can bring, angmos aren't successful for no reason. But i still personally don't like ang mos...doesn't mean i won't be diplomatic.

Work count of yesterday : Zero
Lame comment of yesterday: Dye your hair green and say its natural
Well i guess everyone wouldn't disagree that the Beijing's Olympic Opening Ceremony was a blast. Especially compared to our meagre NDP parade, not that i look down on NDP, but just can't help but to compare. i guess the only trade off was the BLACK knights, whom are ironically red. THey should be called the red knights other smth, it was damm cool except maybe they should have more patterns than the heart. Oh and please for heaven's sake people, please do not...do not...compare these two performances and say singapore's sucks other forms of discrimination whatsoever. You are comparing a country(world in fact)'s 1.4 billion to our thousand times smaller 4 million, and a US$40billion dollar budget, and our... i guess i shouldn't spill the dollars and let it be crushed by the fatso up there. Olympic performance was a show, a global ceremony, our was a national display, please seggregate the two entities.

Every eve of public holidays, my family(including relatives) will have gatherings, we will all go to someone's place, usually mine, cause my dad likes to host, and will just chat. The oldies, busy eating and playing majong. The first batch kids of the 2nd generation, gather and talk abt work and babies, and us, the second batch kids of the 2nd generation, will jus go to some room and chat about school, bgr etc. Don't fret cause i will explain these terms. My relatives here are mostly on my dad's side, hes the youngest of 7, and each of the 7 having an average of 2-3 kids, large age disparities. It was a well planned and executed mission, to give birth in the 1970s to the early 1980s, such that all the 1st batch of 2nd generation kids will grow up the same age, to facilitate certain family objectives, im sure u'd understand, imagine having all ur cousins different ages, how to play? 10-15 years later, they executed a similar plan, perhaps with more difficulty due to certain fertility problems, though with lower yield, the 7 of us in the 2nd batch of the 2nd generation made our debue into the world. so i actually have almost 20 cousins just on one side alone. quite crowded but most in the 1st batch are working/married/having babies, so they don't usually turn up anymore. Leaving us, the younger ones to soak up the talk.

Over these years, ive observed certain...linear regressions alongside our cousins. In vaious aspects, however the predominant one is academic grades on National exams, its perfectly amazing how u can predict our scores just purely from our ages. Oh and mind you, its an upward sloping case of academic performance, kinda like Chang JIang Hou Lang Tui Qian Lang. In psle, the grades just got better and better, from the 100+ to the 200+ and peaked at 255(my sister), but its too bad our youngest didn't do as well and broke the regression. O-levels was exactly the same, started at 20+ at 1st batch, eldest of our batch at 13, myself at 10, and 9 and so on...its so sweet. haha. We used to stay over at each other's homes, was fun. Today yet again we got together in an air conned room and jus talked, over everything.

On another topic, after A-levels, i wanna do some relieve teaching, honestly i hope i will be enlisted in April, for then i can teach and work part time, but its not all tears if i enter in january, cause i can start teachign earlier when im out in 2010, its not like i have a gf to constantly service and tend to. Having a gf comes with alot of responsibility, its not just plain outings and expressions of love, if u had one before u'd understand. I can honestly admit its harder on the guys than on the girls, if you claim that girls are more easily hurt than guys cause guys don't cry then you are seriously wrong. Guys don't cry not because they are tough and strong, but because they cannot, people will call u a sissy etc...u get what i mean. So the only thing they can do is cry alone, or in most cases, convert their sadness to anger, which i do not. On the guy's part, the initial stages are the hardest, we guys have to do all the dirty work while u girls play your hard to get/pretend/play games. And we are accused of being irritating and harrassing when we try to hard or don't get the message across. As a patient person, im willing to go through it, i guess most people are too.

Having gone in and out of afew bgrs, ive understood certain things. Sometimes, when u feel that the person is the one and only, the special person u wanna be with forever and ever etc etc...its not true. And it takes alot of effort and maturity to understand and accept that fact especially under certain blind circumstances. Most people learn it the hard way, i did. Another thing is that, when you are not seriously finding a long term partner, dont' tink so much and jus experiment and explore(don't take risks), you may call me this strange yet commonly used term"flirt" but how about this, is there any other better way to get to know more abt the opposite sex and more about yourself, is there any other way u can get a better objective of how and what bgr is like. This helps you to decide better in future and i tink theres no harm in starting early. On the other hand if you are deciding a long term partner, perhaps its wiser to choose before you love. For love overwrites all, you must understand that love is not ever lasting, its kinda like a sinosuidal wave, it goes up and down, sometimes u hate the person sometimes you do, the only thing that keeps two people together is because they know exactly what they want and know exactly why they want to be together with that person, besides the trival reason of pure hormonal peaks. Personally, i tink i know what im looking for, and im still looking for it. (of course i can be wrong, and its still early, the feng shui master say i'll find the correct one by 25).

Wow, its late alr. Today i was called a "jia kan tang" person, if you don't know what it means, means your also a Jia Kan Tang person. I don't disagree, but theres nth wrong with it, as Lee Kuan Yew says, theres no 100% for both languages, its a balance, my position of equilibrium happen to lie more on the potato's side. Im not a lee kuan yew fan don't get me wrong, nor am i a PAP fan, better not say this too loudly, before i get into trouble, like how many other bankrupts did(hint hint). But i still recognise the PAP's efforts into developing our country, although i do actually wish for some ACTUAL opposition whom has some significant say besides defamatory remarks. GO PAP!!...

Work count: Nothing, better do some crap tml.

Lame comment of the day: PAP = pay and pay

This are photos of the 2nd batch of the second generation of cousins.
